Our Sec 4 Humanities Prelim & O Level prep classes consist of assessment-focused lessons pitched at the G3 level, scheduled prior to the prelims & O Level exams for targeted revision.

All lessons are conducted on Zoom, and are recorded.

Each set of 2 prelim / O Level prep lessons includes:

  • In-class breakdown of answering techniques & misconceptions
  • Content notes (Geography) / Skills notes (History & Social Studies)
  • 1 downloadable mock exam with ans & marking provided
    • The mock exams for the O Level prep classes are different from the prelim prep classes.
  • Q&A email support till 3 Sep (for prelim prep) & till the O Levels (for O Level prep)
  • Access to the materials & recordings till 31 Oct 2026
Elective Geography mock exam format
  • Our mock paper is aligned with O Level Elective Geography assessment specifications. 
  • Duration: 1 hour 45 min
  • Total marks: 50
    • Section A Q1: Geography in Everyday Life (14 marks)
    • Section A Q2: Tourism (18 marks)
    • Section B Q3: Climate (25 marks) or
    • Section B Q4: Tectonics (25 marks)
Elective History mock exam format
  • Our mock paper is aligned with O Level Elective History assessment specifications. 
  • Duration: 1 hour 50 min
  • Total marks: 50
    • Section A: Source-Based Case Study (30 marks)
    • Section B: Essays (20 marks)
  • Topics tested:
    • Unit 1: The Making of the 20th Century World 1910 – 1942
    • Unit 2: The Making of the 20th Century World 1940s – 1991
Social Studies mock exam format
  • Our mock paper is aligned with O Level Social Studies assessment specifications. 
  • Duration: 1 hour 45 min
  • Total marks: 50
    • Section A: Source-Based Question (35 marks)
    • Section B: Structured-Response Questions (15 marks)
  • Topics tested:
    • Issue 1: Exploring Citizenship and Governance

2. All purchases are non-refundable. Refunds are only allowed if a lesson is rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. If you cannot attend the rescheduled lesson, you can opt to watch the recording or obtain a refund. The refund is prorated for that specific lesson based on your purchase price. Materials & the recording will not be provided for the refunded lesson.

3. By registering for this class, you agree to be informed via email about future classes organised by the tutor(s). You are also automatically subscribed to the Krunch mailing list, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. You will only be contacted on your phone number should there be technical issues or unforeseen changes to the class schedule.


How it works
  1. You’ll receive a confirmation email and materials within 1 business day of registration. 
  2. The Zoom link will be sent a week before each lesson. There is no need to attempt the questions prior to lessons. Recordings and any additional materials will be sent within 3 business days after the lesson.
  3. Email us to submit your mocks for marking and/or to ask questions. We will respond within 3 business days.

FAQs
My child is studying G3 Pure Geography. Are the lessons suitable for my child?
  • The lessons are suitable for G3 Pure Geography students because they learn all content in G3 Elective Geography, and are marked the same way. However, note that the G3 Pure Geography exam format differs from our mock exams because Pure Geography students learn more content and have 2 papers to sit for.
  • You may top up $60 to attend both the Climate & Tectonics lessons. Simply include the add-on to your cart using the enrolment link above.
My child is studying G2 Elective / Pure Geography. Are the lessons suitable for my child?
  • Only the prelim prep lessons are suitable for G2 Pure Geography students. The O Level prep lessons are not suitable because they occur after the N Level exams have been completed.
    • G2 Pure Geography students learn Geography in Everyday Life, Tourism & Climate. They should opt for the Elective Geog – Climate option upon checkout.
    • G2 Pure Geography students are marked the same way as G3 students. However, note that the G2 Pure Geography exam format will differ from our mock exams because Pure Geography students learn more content and have 2 papers to sit for.
  • Lessons are not suitable for G2 Elective Geography students because they do not learn Tourism.
My child is studying G3 Pure History. Are the lessons suitable for my child?
  • The lessons are suitable for G3 Pure History students because they learn all content in G3 Elective History, and are marked the same way. However, note that the G3 Pure History exam format differs from our mock exams because Pure History students would have studied more content than Elective students by the end of Sec 4.
My child is studying G2 Elective / Pure History. Are the lessons suitable for my child?
  • Only the prelim prep lessons are suitable for G2 Elect / Pure History students. The O Level prep lessons are not suitable because they occur after the N Level exams have been completed.
  • The G2 skills and content are largely similar to G3.
    • Content: G2 Pure History students cover the same topics tested in our G3 Elective History mock exam. G2 Elective History students cover the same topics as well, except for Militarist Japan and Korean War.
    • Source-based skills: G2 Elective & Pure History students are tested on the same source-based skills as G3 students.
    • Essays: G2 essay questions are similar to G3 essay questions, but G2 students are marked differently. G2 students are only required to explain two perspectives, unlike G3 students who will need to show evaluation in their essays.
My child is studying G2 Social Studies. Are the lessons suitable for my child?
  • Only the prelim prep lessons are suitable for G2 Social Studies students. The O Level prep lessons are not suitable because they occur after the N Level exams have been completed.
  • The G2 skills and content are largely similar to G3.
    • Content: G2 students study the same topics as G3 students except for the cultural and security impact of globalisation.
    • Source-based skills: G2 students are tested on the same source-based skills as G3 students.
    • Essays: G2 students require less rigour in their essays than G3 students.
Is there a cap on the number of students?
  • There is currently no cap on the number of students. However, to optimise the learning experience, we may close registration early should we receive overwhelming response.
Which are your ‘business days’?
  • Our business days are from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
  • E.g. If you submit work on Thursday, you should expect a response by the following Tuesday (3 business days).

Geography – Ms Stacy

Ms Stacy has been teaching Geography for more than 10 years. She formerly taught at Balestier Hill Secondary and Beatty Secondary. She also spent time at MOE’s Curriculum Planning and Development Division, where she was involved in developing learning materials and training teachers in implementing the Geography syllabus. She is a published author with EPH, writing the O Level Pure & Elective Geography Ten-Year Series.

History & Social Studies – Mr Mike

Mr Mike is a seasoned History, Social Studies and Geography educator with 15+ years of teaching experience across the O Level and Integrated Programme tracks. His career includes tenures at St. Patrick’s School and Serangoon Secondary. He also spent time at MOE’s Curriculum Planning and Development Division, where he was involved in developing and training teachers in implementing the Social Studies syllabus. He is a published author with EPH, notably writing the O Level Pure & Elective History Ten-Year Series.
